Dear Sh. Goradiajee,
Herewith please find a small cheque for a 'great cause', that is the conservation and continutity of Hinduism in its place of birth. It is under assault from all sides, mainly from the 'Secular brigade' consisting largely of Hindus who take pride in being given a label of 'Secular'. The secularist is a fashionble word which in their heart of heart spells Anti-Hinduism. May wisdom dawn on them.
Jana Sangh is one of the forums who can, at least, apply breaks to the fall of a great religion by the machinations of many strong forces (I have not name them for fear of that all pervasive clause 153 (A)).
As the provetbial lost flicker of the candle we should make attempts for saving the situation. In a discussion in my circle someone out of dismay and desperation said 'we should ask for a third division of India which does not flineh from calling itself "Ancient India" (Kosovo is a recent example)
The cheque you would kindly notice, was made two months ago (it is voluntary, Swantah Sukhai) but I was waiting for something 'happening' that coroborates my views. The latest is Leiberhan report. It lightens loose around so many including Sadhvi Ritambhara whose speechs I heard and they were not vitriolic. That Leiberhan has placed her 7th in the line of culputs, speaks for itself what the judgment in its letter and spirit would be. Possibly the report would never be made public.
With very best regards,
Sincerely

P.S.
The cheque is not towards subs. for J.S. Today. The subscription ends coming Oct. and I would renew. I don't understand the apalhy of most in my circle who never ask for the J.S. Today to read even if introduced.
